Through the consortium, UC investigators have access to CDPH state-wide COVID data including labs, deaths, facilities, locations, and vaccinations.

Data access is a simple 3-step process.

Step 1: Application
Apply for the data by completing this data access request form (REDCap).

Step 2: Attestation
Complete consortium program attestation and PHI/PII data attestation.

Step 3: Access
Receive access to UCSF’s Research Analysis Environment (RAE) where the data is stored and you can do your analysis.

All analysis of CDPH data must remain in UCSF's Research Analysis Environment (RAE).

Import / Export
Investigators have the ability to import and export files through RAE. This includes:

1. Importing companion data sets into RAE to support your analysis work.

2. Exporting your results, graphs, algorithm outputs.

• Please note: You still cannot export the CDPH datasets in accordance with the program attestation. All analysis of the CDPH data must remain in RAE.
